Discount Tire

If I could leave a 6-star review, I would. I was on my way to work in the morning when I ran over a shard of metal, puncturing one of my tires. I managed to limp my car to this Discount Tire location, where Spence happened to just be coming to work. Despite the fact that the store didn’t open for another hour, he unlocked the door, spoke with me, and allowed me to drop my car off early for it to get serviced when they opened. The tires on the car were newer, but I had bought the car (used) recently, and the tires were not originally bought at Discount Tire. Spence called me back about an hour later, worked with me to get a treadwear discount on my tire because it was still newer, and got me certificates on my other tires, in case those ever got punctured by our wonderful Rockford roads. My existing tires were also balanced and rotated. All told, the price for a new tires and everything else done for my car was very reasonable, and it was ready 2 hours after I had originally dropped it off (roughly an hour after the business actually opened). The service here is exceptional! I’ve been a Discount Tire customer for years, but this just reinforces why I keep coming here!

Best service you could ever ask for! The team is always friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. I never feel like they are trying to upsell me—they always are honest and good at providing explanations for their recommendations. I made an appointment and was in and out in less than an hour, however I appreciate their willingness to stay open late for other customers who walk in (over heard they were staying open an extra hour and a half for one gentleman). Want to give an extra big thank you to Josh and Gavin for taking care of me on separate occasions. They are both great members of the team!

They ordered a completely different set of rims than the ones I paid for. Nobody verified that it was the correct set before installing them. They also did not bother showing them to me before they were installed. It was never caught by any of the employees. I looked through the window and seen the wheels they had installed on my car were completely different than the ones I ordered. They wasted an hour of my day. They didnt have any replacements available. And apparently every other option is on backorder. Didn't even receive an apology for any of this. I will never do business here again. Employee's obviously did not care. This mistake went through way too many eyes to not be caught before being installed on my car

Chris the technician was awesome! They got me in and out really quick even though they had a ton of people. Just a really good crew of people keeping you all informed and making sure that you’re taken care of. I really look forward to coming back to discount tire. They handled business extremely well. And even when my TPMS Sensor wouldn’t connect to the car. (It hadn’t prior) They gave me a few steps to help me get the problem resolved. Appreciate y’all!

As my friend and I both walked into discount tire of Rockford, we met up with Cory and Will. Both gentlemen are ready to serve us with our situation was much harder for any location or other tire specialist to take care of. We collect specialty and antique cars or sometimes the rim size is almost impossible to find a tire for. It did not take long for these gentlemen to take care of our situation they were able to size the rim completely from the front rims to the back rims were different sizes. They were able to find the tire they were able to order for tires for us to complete our set. This can not be done at other places, but both each gentlemen have the experience knowledge and they have shown why they are with this discount tire and why discount tire needs to appreciate them. Thank you so much Corey and Will We were able to sell the white Lamborghini replica . Thank you to both of you for solving such a situation and helping us being profitable and our customer is very happy. The car and tires are now down in North Carolina with our customer. And thank you you discount tire for having such a wonderful specialists.
